The widely-favoured KidsSTOP can be found within the Science Centre Singapore at 15 Science Centre Road in Singapore.
The Children’s Science Centre caters to children aged 18 months to 8 years old, providing edutainment activities to preschool and lower primary-level kids in order to introduce them to science during their formative years.
Since June 2014, visitors have been welcomed to a 3,000 m² gallery devoted to a Children’s Science Centre. Here, children can explore, research, and be creative in a secure and encouraging environment.
At the core of the facility, there are over 20 displays and spaces with specific themes, such as Flight & Space, Constructed Environment, and The Innovation Lab.
Children are given the opportunity to learn about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics through interactive and purposeful play, as well as hands-on activities, in these specially designed areas.
An illustration of this is PlayMaker Studio’s robotic toys and Tinkering Lab’s activities which enable kids to construct and invent, while Oceans’ Buddies marine conservation exhibit has interactive technology to boost understanding.
The play centre for children’s educational entertainment also offers a variety of enrichment programmes, including School Programmes, Visitors Programmes, and Educational Workshops.
