At 53 Amoy Street in Singapore’s Chinatown area, you can locate LUNA Patisserie, a great cake shop.
When you go to the store, you have the opportunity to buy an array of scrumptious, finely made pastries and cakes.
In addition to traditional desserts, many of the desserts are tailored to the local palate, including special creations for occasions such as Valentine’s Day.
On the patisserie menu, one of the highlights is Gula Melakaya. This dessert is made of layers of pandan kaya and coconut mousse, topped with Chantilly cream and coconut shavings and Chocolate Truffle Cake (a chocolate buttermilk sponge cake filled with Valrhona Guanaja 70% dark chocolate ganache and topped with a dark chocolate glaze).
